Appointment information consult physical therapy

The first consult consists of an interview and a physical examination. Based on  this information your physiotherapist will put together an appropriate treatment plan and discusses this with you. Once you agree with it, the treatment plan can start. If you do not have a medical referral from your general practitioner / specialist, your physiotherapist will do a screening prior the interview. This is to determine whether there is an indication for physical therapy.

Take the following with you:

• Insurance card/detail
• Valid identification
• Medical referral (if applicable)

The first consult takes up to maximum 40 minutes. You do not need sports equipment for the first consultation.

Health care insurance:

Please check your health care provider for physical therapy coverage in your policy. HERE you will find an overview (in Dutch) of all the healthcare policies in 2023, including the reimbursements if you are treated by the physical- or manual therapists of Fysiomed. If your insurance does not or only partially reimburse the physical therapy sessions, you will personally receive an invoice for the non-reimbursed treatments from Infomedics, our administration office. If you do not have a health care insurance you can also pay for your treatment (cash or pin) at our reception. Our prices are:

In case there you will be treated during the first consult, the costs will be € 97,00.

If you need to cancel your appointment, please call us as soon as possible. Our telephone number is 020 5608920. When you cancel your appointment within 24 hours or when you do not show up, we will have to charge your appointment.

Note: you will only receive an appointment confirmation by email for your first appointment.
